Mirrored Map Event, also known as Mirror Mode, is a Map Event that can randomly occur while paying for a Map Event during voting in Flood Escape 2. During this event, you will complete the map whilst it is horizontally inverted (each platform is reflected onto the opposite side), which renders muscle memory either almost to completely useless.
When the event is chosen, a distress call is heard, similar to that of the Rescue Mission, albeit being in reverse and saying ‘Mirrored Map!’. From this, as well as the map layout looking different, players will know that the map will be mirrored. The map will play out as normal – agility mechanics work the same, buttons work the same, the flood will rise just as fast as it normally does, except for being inverted.
Successfully escaping a map during this event will not grant you any bonus, with the exception of a badge for surviving any Crazy Map for the first time.
