The Chaotic Buttons Event is a Map Event that can randomly occur while paying for a Map Event during voting in Flood Escape 2. During this event, all buttons, regardless of being normal or group, will turn into an exploding group button, dubbed as a «chaotic button».
When the event is chosen, a ticking sound is heard, with the words ‘Chaotic Buttons!’. Whenever a player presses a button, they’ll have about 2 seconds (close to 1 second on Insane, Crazy, & Crazy+ Maps) to move away from it before it explodes. Players that are inside the Button’s blast radius when it explodes will instantly die. Because every button is a group button, it requires for multiple people to press if there are over 3 players. It will explode once it has been fully pressed. This event can be problematic to the players, especially when the button is right next to the main path.
